Doug Paul, PE is founder and President of The Paul Company. He provides over 40 years of local development and design expertise though his personal involvements in each clients customized services. He continues to actively serve in San Diego Region's essential municipal boards, councils, advisory committees and he remains an active member in the development community's advocacy efforts.
He is the founder and former chairman of Project Design Consultants (PDC), one of the Southwest's largest professional services firm. As principal-in-charge for over 25 years, his career highlights feature master planning and engineering design for Major League Baseball's Petco Park, the 20,000 seat Sleep Train (Coors Amphitheater), and developing the Los Alamos development in Imperial County, a 1,425 acre mixed use commercial project known as Gateway of the Americas, which included an international border crossing, together with countless other projects of similar magnitude throughout the San Diego Region over a 35 year career with PDC.

Rocio Ruiz serves as Office Manager and CAD Operator of The Paul Company, LLC. Rocio brings 17+ years’ experience as a Junior Architect, CAD Designer and Office Manager. She is a strong planner and project coordinator and is a dedicated and skilled administrative support professional offering a versatile set of organizational and design skills. She readily adapts to change, works independently and exceeds expectations. Rocio is bilingual and accustomed to handling sensitive and confidential records. She is flexible and able to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
